Over half of Lubuskie's territory is covered by forests owned by the state. Countryside in Lubuskie consists of over 50 natural parks and 7 landscape parks. Parts of the northern  territory of the region belong to Drawienski National Park.The region offers excellent conditions for walking, horseriding, sailing, cycling, diving, fishing, canoeing and hunting.In recent years Lubuskie has experienced the growth of the popularity of agrotourism. More and more often owners of farms prepare their places for tourists, offering both accomodation as well as food. Some farms offer additional attractions, as for example horse riding.
