The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian is meeting today with the President of Poland Lech Kaczyński, Marshal of the Senate Bogdan Borusewicz and Marshal of the Sejm Bronisław Komorowski.
Earlier, on 16 February, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Poland have had a meeting where Polish-Armenian economic, political and cultural cooperation were discussed, reports the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.
The Foreign Ministers’ talks covered current political issues, including in particular the present situation in the South Caucasus and the prospects for regulating the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well issues regarding Eastern Partnership programme.
Foreign Minister Nalbandyan invited his Polish counterpart to Armenia. Radoslaw Sikorski accepted the invitations and said that in 2009 he would pay an official visit to Armenia.
