You are perfectly right Ilter. I believe it's mere stupidity rather than the "bigtime" racism, that drives most people to do bad things to others, who look or behave different. It's not a problem we can easily deal with, but it's high time government did something about foul behavior schemes related to any forms of racism. Back in the school days I had many friends from South Asia, who were treated just like they broke some ethereal rules by just settling and living a quiet life in Poland. The world is at a certain stage, where only tolerance and unity can move it forward and allow for civilization's survival. For Poles there is still much to learn, but eventually, as you have said - it will diminish just like it did in the other countries. I surely hope so. - andrzej

Thank you for bringing this up Andrzej,
Although I don't face these type of troubles myself, I believe it's just because of my appearance and life style. I am Turkish and I have a Turkish friend who looks like Middle Eastern people. I've heard couple of times that he'd been intimidated by (mostly) drunk young Poles in public transport vehicles.
I hope and believe these kind of foul behaviour type will diminsh with the time in Poland. - ilter

Most of us Polish people will, in my opinion, back up this guy seeing what happens daily on the streets. It's still a long time before we can call ourselves tolerant. For your kind consideration. - andrzej
