Rise brothers and sisters! Two largest newspapers in Poland reported on Tuesday, that in one of the Media Markt department stores, on sale are strange blue buttons with white clearly blasphemous type inside.
Make no mistake about it. This is the sign, the Judgement Day is coming. Those responsible should be immediately brought to the court of law for "offending religious beliefs".
As far as we know, German owned Media Markt made no clear statement as to whether it would screen its stocks in search of this and similar buttons, although that would be very advisable.
The spokesperson, in an official statement confessed them to be made in Germany. She was very upset and one could read deep regret from her voice, just as one would expect.
Polish public opinion was greatly divided over allegedly humorous phrase on the button, which can be easily judged by following the newspapers' comment sections. For all those who can read and understand English, it was obvious the J word and the c word should not be placed anywhere near one another.
